At Transitional Living Centers, we foster an environment that’s ideal for courageous, compassionate workers who value teamwork.
A family owned and operated business, TLC appreciates every employee, direct support professionals, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, maintenance, and office staff. Their roles and tasks may vary, but caring is what they all share in common.
With a 24/7 operation, we all have a commitment to quality. Our clients deserve our best and we provide outstanding care that also meets Ohio and federal rules and regulations.
Members of our staff often tell stories of “falling in love” with our clients. Although there are standards to meet, TLC is about providing personal support to each individual more than anything.
The individuals who receive services from TLC vary in age, race, color, creed, sexual orientation, in addition to other attributes. We have some new residents, who have recently moved into one of our group homes. Others have been here for decades.
When you work at TLC, you’ll discover that you’re part of something exceptional. You’ll be providing first-hand assistance to people who depend on you regardless of how they communicate their feelings. Often, employees remark that they’ve found their calling at TLC.
On any given day, you’ll help clients in many ways – from their meals and range of motion exercises to caring for the home. We have special events, including some sports activities and family-style picnics. The staff also takes clients on outings in accordance with each individuals likes and hobbies.
TLC employees enjoy being able to make a real, tangible, and visible impact on the lives of our clients, and helping them to learn and to be empowered to make their own choices, as well as build healthy relationships is the most rewarding part!
